Tawny owl survives 300-mile train journey from Glasgow to Northampton
19 March 2014A tawny owl has survived after clinging to the front of a train on a 300-mile journey from Glasgow to Northampton. The owl, named Lucky, is now being treated for a sprained wing at Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary.It is hoped the bird can be released back into the wild after a period of recuperation.
